There was a third gen Olds Bravada based on the trailblazer? I’ve never been so excited to see such a terrible car. How have I never seen one in my decade of full time car spotting?

Well here in SF I have never seen any of the generations, people buy Japanese or Euro, all American stuff are pickups, Suburbans etc... I for sure have never seen one of these anywhere I have been,

My cousin had a black one that apparently treated him well through high school and college but that’s literally the only one I’ve seen in real life. Fun fact: the only available engine was a 4.2L straight-six.

Yep, there’s a small part of me that says a Trailblazer SS powertrain swap would be cool. But I’d rather just find a 9-7X Aero.

Interesting fact: the Bravada body shell was used for the Buick Rainer and the SAAB 9-7X after the Bravada was discontinued.

Suzuki made a truck (the Equator) based on the Tacoma. I’d never even heard of them or seen one before and I’ve seen several (or the same one multiple times) within the last six months.

Yup. The GMT360 was used more than a mattress at a whorehouse

The Suzuki Equator was a Nissan Frontier, not Taco. Just FYI.

I knew, but you don’t see many of them because GM pulled the oil on Olds not long after it came out.

Fun sad fact, a 3rd gen Brazada paced the 2001 Indy 500. It was driven by John Mellencamps then wife for .... Reasons, I guess.

THey were common enough at one time here in Canada, the Principal of my High School had one in that same red color back in 2004. I’ve not seen one for something like 2 years though...

The bigger question is: There are people who didn’t know this?

I'd actually seen those, even seen them advertised.

No worries, it’s easy to do. I’ve seen a couple of them, but only because there was a Suzuki dealer near where I work. I never have seen one in the wild.

up, I think Pontiac was the only GM brand or partner that didn’t get it. Chevy, GMC, Buick, olds, Saab, Izusu.

Thankfully the Saab didn’t get that ugly cladding.
